Last updated: [DATE]

⚠️ DRAFT — a reasonable starting point for a consumer driving app. Have it reviewed by a lawyer and fill in the bracketed fields (entity, governing law) before publishing.

Welcome to Carver. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Carver.

⚠️ Safety — read this

Always drive lawfully and attentively. Obey all posted speed limits and traffic laws. Carver records drives; it does not authorize or encourage speeding, racing, or any unsafe driving on public roads.

Your use of Carver

Carver grants you a personal, non‑transferable license to use the app for recording and reviewing your own drives. You agree not to misuse the app, reverse‑engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Your content

Drives you record are yours. If you choose to submit a drive to a leaderboard or share a card, you grant Carver permission to display that submitted content as part of the feature you used. You can remove submitted content.

No warranty

Carver is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Stats and estimates (including GPS‑ and sensor‑derived figures) may be inaccurate and should not be relied upon for safety‑critical or legal purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carver and its creators are not liable for any damages, injuries, losses, citations, or claims arising from your use of the app or your driving. You use Carver at your own risk.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules.
